Going Wild (Oakland Hills #6) Coming May 11, 2017 — Pre-order now!

PRE-ORDER NOW: COMING MAY 11, 2017!

When accountant Jane finds herself attracted to handsome, free-spirited Grant, will she pursue her long-term goals… or her heart?

All work and no play…

Jane Garcia’s life is going according to plan: she’s dumped the cheating ex, moved into a beautiful house overlooking the San Francisco Bay, and expects to move up at her accounting firm. But when financial trouble strikes, she’s forced to rent a room to Grant Whitman, a scruffy writer with a full beard who knits his own hats.

No man is an island…

Grant Whitman has spent countless weeks alone in the wilderness researching his best-selling books. But after he meets Jane, he knows solitude isn’t going cut it anymore. She’s smart, strong, sexy… and the chemistry between them could roast marshmallows. The problem? A guy like Grant just doesn’t fit into Jane’s plans.

Fools rush in…

As they grow closer, Jane isn’t sure she can continue to resist Grant—or even wants to. Soon all her careful plans begin to unravel like a badly knitted hat. And then, to his surprise, so do Grant’s.

But can their wild fling outlast the summer?

Now in wide release: QUICK TAKES (Oakland Hills Stories Boxed Set)

Quick Takes

Now you can get all my Oakland Hills short stories to-date in one ebook at all retailers! This Quick Takes collection follows the lives of three friends in California who find love when they least expect it. It also includes a bonus story in which the matchmaker in all the Oakland Hills books (Trixie!) finally gets what she deserves — a happy ending of her own.

This boxset contains four short stories that were originally published separately in 2014 and 2015. They’re standalone romances but are most enjoyable when read together, since there is some overlap in characters. The total set is about 183 pages long.

Can’t Stop Wanting You (love/hate romance)
Jody Lapinski is a plus-sized chemist with a problem. The despicable Simon Brogan has moved into the upstairs unit of her house. In high school, Simon was an arrogant, heartless jerk. She’s not going to forgive him now just because he’s gorgeous and successful. Not after what he did. * *Contains the wedding of Liam and Bev from Love Handles (Oakland Hills Book 1).

Timeline note: story takes place between This Time Next Door andNot Quite Perfect.

Just Can’t Forget You (second chance romance)
They first met as troubled teens, and now their paths have crossed again. Melissa has shrugged off her past to begin a fulfilling career, but Eduardo is definitely trouble. All grown up, he’s more dangerous than ever.

Timeline note: story takes place between This Time Next Door andNot Quite Perfect.

Can You Love Me Now? (friends-to-lovers romance)
Sasha Selkirk has been in love with her best friend’s brother, Jake Lapinksi, since she was thirteen. Now twenty-eight, she knows if he was ever going to return her feelings, he certainly would’ve done it by now. So when he shows up at the snowbound mountain cabin where she’s staying–alone, trying again to forget him–she pushes him away, never expecting him to kiss her. Or make any of her other dreams come true…

Timeline note: story takes place between This Time Next Door andNot Quite Perfect.

TrixieDoesVegas_cover_20151118

I’ve just published an all-new short story, Trixie Does Vegas (Oakland Hills Short Story 4). From Thursday, Nov. 19 through Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, you can get the Kindle edition FREE! It’s also in Kindle Unlimited, so you can borrow it for free as part of your subscription. And if you haven’t tried Kindle Unlimited, the 30-day trial is also free. So much free.

This is a companion story to This Changes Everything (Oakland Hills #4). I wrote it after readers asked, “Just what happened with Trixie and Hugo, anyway?”‘ It’s about 40 pages of Trixie fun. Romantic, too. Hugo plays it just right.

Get it while you can! Price goes up to $0.99 on Sunday. (It’s only on Amazon at this time so it can be part of the subscription program. Thanks so much for understanding.)
