THIS TIME NEXT DOOR — Recommended by Audiogals!

The audiobook for This Time Next Door was just reviewed on Audiogals!

I’d definitely try another Gretchen Galway story and my appreciation of Tanya Eby’s narration is well known I think. I count this as a win.

My sincere thanks to Kaetrin at Audiogals for taking the time to listen and leave such a thoughtful review. You can find your own copy to listen on, iTunes, and Amazon. (On Amazon, if you’ve already bought the eBook, you can get the Whispersynced audiobook edition for only $1.99 — an incredible deal.)

THIS TIME NEXT DOOR, now in Audiobook

This Time Next Door, my romantic comedy that was in the Top-50 in the Kindle store last week, is now available in audio! Unabridged and narrated by the fabulous Tanya Eby, you can get this audiobook at,, and iTunes.

Bookbub last week had a great way to describe the book:

Curvy and confident Rose has a knack for attracting Mr. Wrong. But when she discovers the nerd next door has hidden talents, can she resist his geeky charms? A fun-filled romance with over 130 five-star reviews on Amazon.

Here are a few excerpts from reviews for the ebook edition:

I loved this book….The heroine was plus-sized but instead of having a poor self-image and suffering from a lack of self-esteem…she was very well-adjusted, socially adept, had an active dating life… I had a hard time putting it down.” –VINE VOICE esm4

“Awesome. Full of Romance from the very start this sexy book will make you laugh and be engrossed completely from the very first chapter.” — Kennia, Amazon reviewer

“Evocative of Jennifer Crusie’s Bet Me and Rainbow Rowell’s Attachments. Ya know, I really love it when I get surprised by a book.”–Ellen K, Amazon reviewer

The audiobook edition came out beautifully. Over ten hours of unabridged, full-figured and fully-spiced romance.  Happy listening!

Latest News: RT Convention and Upcoming Releases

First, I’d like to give you an infrequent sighting alert for yours truly: next week, May 13 through 17, I’ll be at the RT Booklover’s Convention in New Orleans, LA! I’m won’t be sitting at any tables signing my books (or postcards of my books), but I will be wandering around in a happy daze, taking in the workshops and chatting with readers and other writers. Maybe I’ll see you there over a pile of romance novels and beignets. Doesn’t that sound like heaven?

Secondly: a heads-up for audiobook listeners. Right now, only Love Handles is available in audio. Coming soon, however, the next book in the Oakland Hills series, This Time Next Door, will also be available. Both are narrated by the fabulous Tanya Eby. Sign up for my New Release Mailing List here on the blog to hear when it’s live.

Third: I’m finishing up the Book 3 of the Oakland Hills series as we speak. Look for April’s story in ebook this summer. Again, if you sign up for my mailing list, you’ll be the first to know when it’s live. Anybody on the list will tell you I send out email very infrequently–only when my books are on sale (or free) or have a new release. What’s the title? Oh? You want to know? SO DO I. I’ll be begging for help on that one on my Facebook page, as well as working out a cover design. Come on by and join the fun. (Please! LOL)

Actually, and is this fourthly?: for more daily information about me and my progress with writing and otherwise, do come by my Facebook page. I’m still intimidated by my blog, and post much more frequently over there on my Page. I’m also a regular on Twitter.

Hope you’re having a fantastic spring, wherever you are, and maybe I’ll see you in NOLA.
